Privacy Policy

Effective June 11, 2026

Introduction

Sunny Perch ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Sunny Perch invoicing platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our service. By using Sunny Perch, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. You may also provide billing address and business information as part of your profile.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This may include IP address, browser type, and device information.

Payment data: Payment card and bank transfer information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We receive and store limited payment metadata (last four digits, card brand, expiry) returned by Stripe.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and improve the Sunny Perch service; to process transactions and send related information such as confirmations and invoices; to respond to comments and questions; to send administrative messages and service updates; and to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers who assist us in operating the platform — including Stripe for payment processing and our transactional email provider for delivering notifications. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.

Data Retention

We retain your account and transactional data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information by logging in to your account settings or by contacting us. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to restrict or object to certain processing.
